It retains its original blue interior in lovely condition, the chrome presents superbly, and it drives exactly as a well-sorted TR should: smooth, strong and beautifully composed.

Designed by Giovanni Michelotti as the evolution of the TR4, the TR4A introduced Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) -a key upgrade that makes this model rarer and particularly desirable. First registered in 1966, this example comes with a Heritage Certificate and a reassuring history file, with MOTs dating back to the early ’80s that back up the indicated 42,601 miles and its low-ownership history. Period features include wire wheels, overdrive, and period badges with wire headlamp guards. The underside has been carefully preserved, and the car wears its age with honest, characterful charm.
