Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter is: i4imagineering Limited T/A Vintage and Classic Car Hire (VCCH), Unit 17, Terminal Close, Shoeburyness, Essex SS3 9BN.
2. Employees of VCCH or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
3. The competition is only available to entrants in Great Britain. All entrants must be over 18 years.

The winner must also provide photographic identification that matches the details on their VCC account and may be required to prove their eligibility and correct contact details before the prize is awarded.

If the prize winner is under 18 or outside the GB the ticket will be invalid and the draw will be held again.

1. To enter the competition entrants must answer a qualifying question (when there are any) using their own expertise and knowledge. The answer must be correct and match the promoter’s answer. If the question (when there are any) is answered correctly the entrant will qualify for entry. Any entrant that fails to answer the qualifying question correctly will not be entered into the competition and in these circumstances, the ticket price paid will not be refunded.
2. The maximum number of entrants for each competition will be clearly stated on the VCC website. Where a maximum number of entries is reached before the advertised closing date, the promoter may bring forward the draw to an earlier date.
3. Entries (tickets) are limited to 200 per person or whatever limit is placed on the individual competition page on the VCC website. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent any per-person entry limit or using automated scripts to enter will be deemed a breach of fair use, entries will be voided, and no refunds will be given.
4. In the extremely rare situation where a competition awarding “100 free tickets” ends with fewer than 100 tickets remaining for the associated car draw or where that car draw has sold out, the winner will receive all remaining tickets, and we will credit the balance of the 100 tickets to the winner’s account as wallet points for use in any of our future competitions. The credited tickets will be subject to the same terms and conditions and must be used on competitions promoted by VCCH.
5. Each draw will be made using Random Number Generator. We may record draws live online for transparency and publish entry lists or ticket numbers prior to the draw.
6. The prize does not come with a warranty or guarantee and does not include any insurance or road tax. The winner is responsible for arranging appropriate insurance, road tax and any other necessary licences and safety equipment before using the vehicle. Vehicles are classic and therefore may not be new; they may come with faults and the promoter makes no representations or warranties as to their condition. Once delivered or collected, the promoter accepts no responsibility for the prize.
7. If due to circumstances beyond our control the advertised prize becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value. The winner may not elect to receive a cash alternative unless we offer one.
8. The prize must be removed, collected, or delivered from the promoter’s premises with 14 days. If this is not adhered to or extended by agreement with the promoter, the winners claim will be invalid. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf. The winner must respond to notification of their win and arrange collection or delivery within 14 days; failure to respond may result in the prize being offered to an alternate winner.
9. In processing any personal data relating to the entrants we will always comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulation of 2018. By entering, you consent to us using your name and town or county of residence for announcing the winner; if you object to publication, please let us know, but we may still be required to provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority or other regulators.
10. Closing date for each competition will be announced on the VCC website. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted. Competitions will not normally be extended beyond the stated closing date except in very exceptional circumstances; if the competition is cancelled, entry fees will be refunded.
11. Competitions will only be extended in very exceptional and unavoidable circumstances. If the competition is cancelled a full refund will be made to the entrants.
12. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
13. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is non-transferable. If the prize is supplied by a third-party supplier, details will be provided on the competition page.
14. The winners will be notified by telephone, letter or email after the competition ends. Entrants are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date contact details; if we cannot contact the winner within a reasonable time (e.g., 14 days), we may select an alternate winner.
15. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered.
16. The promoter may use your name and photograph, where appropriate, for promotional purposes.
17. In the extremely rare situation where a competition awarding “100 free tickets” ends with fewer than 100 tickets remaining for the associated car draw or where that car draw has sold out, the winner will receive all remaining tickets, and we will credit the balance of the 100 tickets to the winner’s account as wallet VC digital credit points for use in any of our future competitions. The credited tickets will be subject to the same terms and conditions and must be used on competitions promoted by VCC.
18. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions and entry is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
19. Limitation of Liability. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained to person or property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods by any person to the competition winner. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
20. You may enter the competition using the free Postal Entry Route by complying with the following conditions:
    1. send your entry on an unenclosed postcard to the Promoter at the following address: Vintage and Classic Car Hire, Unit 17, Terminal Close, Shoeburyness, Essex SS3 9BN
    2. include with your entry the following information:
       1. the Competition or Prize Draw you wish to enter;
       2. Your full name and postal address;
       3. Email address and Telephone number;
    3. if you are entering a Competition or Prize Draw through the Postal Entry Route you will be required to register for an account via our Website prior to us receiving your postal entry. Following receipt of your valid postal entry we will apply an entry to your account. Please note, registering an account on our website is completely free. During account registration you must include the following data that matches your data on your Postal Entry:
       1. Your full name and postal address;
       2. Email address and Telephone number;
    4. incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified;
    5. you may make multiple free entries for any competition or prize draw (up to any limit placed on entries by the Promoter) but each free entry must be submitted and posted to the Promoter separately. Bulk entries will not be accepted as multiple entries and if a bulk entry is received, it will be counted as one single entry;
    6. by entering the competition, you are confirming that you are eligible to enter and accept these terms and conditions;
    7. your entry must be received by the Promoter prior to the Closing Date and prior to all tickets in a Competition or Prize Draw being allocated.
       Where a free postal entry is received after the Closing Date, or after all tickets for the relevant Competition or Prize Draw have been sold or allocated, but within 48 hours of either such event, the entry will not be entered into the selected Competition. Instead, the Entrant will receive virtual credit in their Entrant Account equal to the value of one ticket for the selected Competition/Prize Draw.
       This virtual credit may be used by the Entrant towards entry into any future Competition/Prize Draw available on the Website, subject to availability and the applicable terms of that future Competition/Prize Draw.
       Free postal entries received more than 48 hours after the Closing Date, or more than 48 hours after all tickets for the relevant Competition have been sold or allocated, will not be entered into the selected Competition and no credit or alternative entry will be provided.
       Proof of posting does not guarantee that you will be entered into the random draw and will not be accepted as proof of receipt;
    8. the Promoter will not acknowledge receipt of your entry nor confirm if your answer to the Competition Question is correct;
    9. if an Entrant has reached the maximum number of entries or ticket limit permitted for the relevant Competition/Prize Draw before their free entry is received, the free entry will not be entered into that Competition/Prize Draw;
    10. Entrants must have created an account on the Website for the free entry to be processed. All details on the postcard MUST correspond to the details on the account to receive the order confirmation and ticket number. Postal entries received without a registered account cannot be processed.

Platinum Reward Club

1. The Platinum Rewards Club is a subscription based aspect of our competitions where the members buy in advance credits to be used solely for the conversion and purchase to competition prize draw tickets. This takes the form of points, attributed to their account that can be exchanged ONLY for competition prize draw tickets.
2. Advance purchase of ticket credits through this scheme attracts certain other benefits such as the purchaser being entered into other competitions without additional charge and also further global discounts on other competition entries. In summary it is an advance purchase of credits that are credited to a virtual wallet that can only be spent on our competition tickets that attracts additional benefits as published.
3. We cannot refund any payments for advance ticket credits but the user can cancel further automatic payments at any time. Cancellation will void any entries into bonus competitions.
4. Bonus competitions are subject to the same terms and conditions as our main prize competition draws.
5. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Platinum Reward Club – Race Retro Event Promotion – One Year Free Membership

Participants who sign up for the Platinum Rewards Club Membership at the Race Retro Event using our dedicated QR code will receive a one-year free membership with access to all standard benefits of the Platinum Rewards Club.

Important Note:

1. Members who join through this promotion will not receive VC digital credits as part of their membership.
2. All other benefits, including entry into bonus competitions, exclusive discounts, and access to prize draws, remain the same as those offered to standard Platinum Rewards Club members.
3. This free membership is valid for one full year from the date of activation.

By signing up, participants agree to the terms and conditions of the Platinum Rewards Club and acknowledge that no VC digital credits will be provided under the Race Retro Event promotional offer.
