Win This Concours-Condition 1966 Triumph TR4A IRS – Signal Red, Stunning Restoration

We’re excited to offer this truly outstanding 1966 Triumph TR4A IRS as the prize in our latest Classic Car Competition. Finished in Signal Red with a black interior piped in white and presented to an exceptional standard. This is the kind of TR4A that stops people in their tracks: superb paintwork, flawless chrome, crisp panel gaps, and an interior that looks and feels as good as it gets.

In 1996 it was showing a genuine 46,000 miles, and today it shows 49,000 miles following an intensive 700-hour restoration completed to an exceptional standard. It’s not just a showpiece either; it drives exactly as it should, pulling strongly and performing beautifully on the road.

The TR4A is one of the great Triumphs; a beautifully balanced British sports car, and the IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) model is the one enthusiasts look for. It’s rarer, more desirable, and offers that extra composure and refinement on today’s roads. And there’s real motorsport heritage here too: in 1966, TR4A IRS cars famously locked out the podium at the Sebring 12 Hours, finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd; a brilliant reminder of just how capable these cars are.

This example is finished with a black mohair soft top in excellent condition and comes with a black vinyl hood cover, plus new wire wheels and tyres; a perfect finishing touch on a TR of this calibre.

Key Highlights

  • 1966 Triumph TR4A IRS – beautifully restored to a truly exceptional standard
