MGB Roadster Turbo + £1,000

This 1975 MGB Turbo Charged Roadster Special is very special indeed, featured in several performance and specialist magazines it has been professionally built. It is a work of engineering excellence. It has a 2 litre K series MG engine which has a Garrett turbo charger and this is mounted to a Mazda 6 speed manual transmission and drives the rear wheels via a Granada back axle. The car has ventilated disc brakes all round with Hoyle coil over suspension units. It handles as good as any performance car should and the whole geometry has been set up by a professional race engineer. Comfortable, manageable and totally safe around town below 3000 RPM, once opened up it gives a total different experience which rivals the performance of a supercar with 230 BHP/Tonne but more notably a massive 333 NM of torque. All this is delivered in a progressive manner making the car not only super quick but manageable also. There are simply not enough superlatives to describe this cars performance and handling.

It has a red leather interior with seats from a MG TF, matching door cards and carpets as well as a fully removable hard top. The fittings are present for a soft top and/or tonneau cover.

The alloy wheels are unique and sourced from an Audi. These have been machined out with a centre hub added, fitted with machine screws and taking the centre spline to make these wheels knock-ons. They are complimented by a set of chrome spinners. Brand new Yokohama tyres have just been fitted.

The car comes with a full 12 months MoT.
