Triumph Harris Bonneville

This iconic and immaculate Triumph Trident T160 was manufactured in December 1975 and registered new, much later, in September 1979. This is all confirmed by a heritage certificate sourced from the factory archives. It is not uncommon for these bikes to be registered much later as there was an over-supply manufactured in the first year of production, which took time to sell. During the mid-seventies the Honda CB750 particularly at this level of machine, along with other Japanese bikes, quickly became a more popular choice, all of this adding to the woes and final demise of the British motorcycle industry.

This example has the all-important matching numbers along with a massive history file stretching all the way back to when it was new. It also comes with a plethora of spare bits and pieces and a workshop manual. The bike is a credit to its previous enthusiast owner who had the bike looked after and prepared by a marque specialist. It really is a truly wonderful motorcycle and a joy to ride.

It has the benefit of a five-speed gearbox, electric start and the period upgrade of twin front brake discs means it is a very capable machine on modern roads. Fully serviced and on the button, it runs and rides faultlessly.
