Welcome to the competition prize draw for this 1962 Triumph Tiger 100SS 500cc Twin.
This is a UK bike and was first registered on 8th November 1962. Completely restored it is in pristine condition and the great news is it is also fully sorted and tested, having covered enough miles since rebuild to sort out any issues. It is a very useable classic bike and starts and rides easily with no drama and has proven to be extremely reliable. The chrome work is immaculate as is the paint and this machine would grace any motorcycle collection. These models are rare now and especially so in this condition.
Tiger 100 (T100SS)
Production Years: 1962 to 1970
When introduced, the UK model had a ‘bikini’ fairing, a separate chrome headlamp and a slim front mudguard rather than the Roman helmet design whereas in the US the fairing was dropped altogether. It wasn’t until the 1964 model that the UK version lost its fairing.
Congratulations to Slug Appleby from Middlesbrough!
